2nd ARBRE Scientific Symposium

ARBRE (Association of Resources for Biophysical Research in Europe; www.arbre-biophysics.eu) is the newest and first transnational EBSA member society .

It is a technology and method-oriented society that aims to bring together a vibrant pan-European community of scientists active or interested in the field of molecular biophysics.

In this way, the positioning of ARBRE is very complementary to that of the national biophysical societies that constitute the core of EBSA.

We are happy to invite you to join us in Vienna on November 12-13 2026 for the 2nd ARBRE Scientific Symposium.

The event website is now online ( 2nd ARBRE Scientific Symposium ), allowing you to view the meeting agenda and providing you with all useful practical information.

You will be able to register and optionally submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation.

This is an excellent opportunity notably for students, early-career researchers, and technology-minded scientists (technicians, engineers, core facility and CRO staff, industrial R&D team members, …), so don’t hesitate!

The deadline for abstract submissions is September 25.

The first half-day of the meeting (November 12 afternoon) will comprise two oral presentation sessions (each with one invited speaker and several selected talks) + a poster session.

The second half-day (November 13 morning) will be dedicated to ARBRE working group meetings (see www.arbre-biophysics.eu/activities) and to the annual General Assembly of the association.

Of note, the “non-member” meeting registration fee includes the 2027 ARBRE membership fee… allowing you to become an ARBRE member at the same time as you register for the meeting.
