Postdoc on DNA Origami as Molecular Tools to Investigate Biological Systems
Type d'annonce : Offre d'emploi post-doctorat
De : CitCoM UMR8038 , Paris - site internet
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with an interest in crossdisciplinary research to join our CiTCoM lab (Cibles Thérapeu0ques et Conception de Médicaments), localized at Université Paris Cité, on the Faculty of pharmacy in Paris, France. This is a full-time 24-month position involving the design, charaterization, and implementation of new molecular tools based on DNA nanotechnology for the study of biological systems. The project is funded by the French National Research Agency and will be carried out under the supervision of Nesrine Aissaoui.
Our laboratory develops and exploits the modularity and the high degree of addressability of self-assembled DNA nanostructures as a biosynthe0c tool to probe fundamental aspects of biology. The recruited postdoc will develop two main projects: (1) the creation of new-based DNA nanostructures as a molecular template to hold proteins to facilitate molecular imaging by single-particle Cryo-Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM); and (2) the development of DNA-based nano-machines and nano-robots as a drug delivery vehicles.
